Sunrise Day Camp is the only dedicated day camp in the nation for children with cancer and their siblings.
Recognizing the financial impact that cancer can have on a family, Sunrise Day Camp is offered completely free of charge. SunriseWALKS is a wonderful opportunity not only to raise the funds needed to continue our operation but also to come together as a community in support of these amazing children, their families and the magical summer at Sunrise Day Camp, which brings childhood back to children with cancer.
Join us on June 8th, 2014 for SunriseWALKS, a fun, non-competitive event for people of all ages to benefit Sunrise Day Camp. There are so many ways you can participate! Not a walker? Why not consider sponsoring a walker by making a donation to their walk effort? Whichever you choose, your participation will help make the difference in the life of a child.
The Walk would not be complete without the fun-filled Finish Line Celebration! Join us for food, games, rides and lots of exciting surprises – you won’t want to miss it! So bring along your friends and family and help bring smiles to the faces of children with cancer on Sunday, June 8, 2014. Every step counts!
